Go Go Squid (Season 1): Story of Tong Nian and Han Shang Yan: Episode 35 -41

 GO GO SQUID 

In episode number thirty-six, An old member (Solo and Han) of the team Solo, so everyone is a bit emotional right now. Tong Nian keeps him company through his emotional state. Later Tong Nian fell asleep in Han's room. As the next day, Tong Nian's alarm started ringing and the voice was loud so Han got up to turn off the alarm but seeing Han's face Tong Nian suddenly wakes up he thinks Han might have taken advantage of her last night (But Han is a gentleman). 

But he didn't do anything and they got up early so Han tells her to go back to sleep it is still early and next time in the future when they will live together Han is going to be in charge of setting alarm (Morning romance are the best). 

As there was a match going to be and the host was Ai Qing. But one surprise for all appeared. Fan poll was taken who they want to see play the top was Han (of course), then Solo, Ai Qing and the best player of the team Solo and they have to play this celebrity match. 

It was sudden but they all agree to it. Later SP team wins the championship. As old members of team Solo were there too so they all decided to go for a meal. Han and Solo are again building their old bonding as they were standing again on the same spot (that was nice). Shao Fei then came to call Yaya and they should also start dating (how sweet). 

As episode number thirty-seven begins they all had a celebrity match that was a success. Every Solo member wants to party now but Han excuses them as he has some plan with Tong Nian. Han brings Tong Nian to Beijing where he first started his journey and how he was before. But as Tong Nian has changed her and he knows how to love now. And that is how he proposed to her. But Tong Nian was not prepared for this she suddenly goes all blank as no one has proposed to her before and suddenly this happening. 

It was more shock for her and seeing her like that Han thinks he was too fast and wasn't thinking of her. And they should give more time to each other also. That is how Tong Nian reject him and he was so sad. He goes backs to the teammates and Tong Nian is at Hotel. 

Han is now confused and thinking why she said no and he was talking about it with his team also. Tong Nian thought it would be hard for Han because of the rejection, so she went to Wu Bai. Wu Bai assures her that it is okay he will understand and he should also know how it feels to be rejected. 

As the next day appeared Han and Tong Nian go for breakfast. They both were awkward and Han is more in anger I guess. But they did have arguments in their own way. They were on the plane and at the end of their discussion with each other they made up. That is how they know each other better and better. 

Han also tells her that he will try harder to know her and give more attention to others. He also tells her that she should also do her own things and don't lose the real Tong Nian. 

In episode number thirty-eight, Han is sending Tong Nian at home, but she invited him over. This was the first time Han is coming as Tong Nian's boyfriend. They both were awkward but ended up hugging each other. When they heard Tong Nian's father came they all got in a panic situation keep their distance between them. 

Tong Nian, her parents, and Han were having dinner together and Han is pleased with homemade food as he eats more packed food. After eating the meal, Han washes all the dishes. By this action, Tong Nian's mother got really impressed. 

Later Tong Nian was at her dorm and then Zheng Hui came to her. He expressed her feeling towards her he has been following her past 2 years. They are more capable of each other as they both are similar and have the same interest. But Tong Nian cleared that she likes Han more and how their relationship is great. She loves him because he takes good care of her. 

On the other hand, Buff also join the team as now there 5 members and have four spots. Han tells everyone that there will be individual ranking through the half month and in the end according to progress the person would be chosen. 

Episode number thirty-nine starts with Han decide that 5 members will play against him and the end result will be declared according to it. In the end Buff, 97, Grunt, and Demo got selected and Wu Bau is obviously going to be on the team as captain. After the result, One didn't get the spot so he was sad but then Han tell him life will give him more opportunity and he can try again in the next year. 

Tong Nian buys a coffee machine for the members, as she is talented enough she makes coffee with pictures with cream. Han thought she will give him the first coffee but she handed the coffee to other teammates. But in the last Han ask one coffee for him so she made a Pig picture on the coffee and give it to Han. but Han make fool of her that the pig was Tong Nian (cute I know!!). 

As there are semifinals between K&K and SP. The team will compete with each other and will earn their spot. K&K wins the match and enters the final round. SP will be having again one chance for the spot of 3rd number with Australia. Yaya and Tong Nian are really becoming nervous as the match time is coming nears. 

The forty-episode starts with every player pretend to be sleeping while Han came but when he left they all came together and discussed the whole game plan. As the other day Grunt started his pain again now he has to go to the hospital. One is replaced with Grunt. 

Now all the players came and Han Tong Nian is seated at the front row. SP has also earned the spot of 3rd place now it's time for K&K. Tong Nian tells Han that they should get married it doesn't matter if his team wins or losses she will be with him for sure. Han got all excited and K&K actually wins (Yess!!). Now K&K is the Asian Champions (How nice). 

Then immediately Han calls for Solo and exchanged their clothes. Han wears a grey suit of Solo and Solo is wearing the K&K uniform of Han (Han looks really great in suits as he has already worn them 2 times and this was the third time in the series). Everyone was confused about what are they actually doing it but later on, everyone got it that it was for Tong Nian. Shoa Fei also calls her grandmother and tells her they won the championship and he also tells them Yaya is going to be their daughter-in-law. 

In episode number forty-one, Han and Tong Nian go to her place. He actually went for her place to grant the permission of marriage and residential permit so they can get marry. As her parents are okay with it but still her mother hesitates to give it because Tong Nian was her only daughter. But she gives it. 

As they both came to the club and Han announces that Tong Nian is going to be his wife as they have already got the residential permit of Tong Nian. All team was happy and everyone was cheering for them. On the upper side, the Solo team is there for celebration but Han didn't drink alcohol because he has plans with Tong Nian. 

Tong Nian and Han go to registered their marriage but the office was closed so they had time. So they discussed their thoughts about each other how they will take care of each other. Han also gives his ring printed within GUN and the only ring he kept after winning the championship is now giving to Tong Nian. Later they slept at the door of the office and after the office was open they went to registered their marriage. 

Now both team K&K and SP are going for World Championship and Han brings Tong Nian also with him. And he also does take care of her better now.

To be honest, when I started this series from the first episode I was really into it, the story is unique and the all characters are so great with their acting, and yeah I loved the story of Han Shangyan and Tong Nian. They are the best. I can even watch this series thousands of times. But this series taught me that with hard work you can win everything in your life for sure.
