When food is good our mood automatically becomes good. In short, we do rely on food for our everything. So here today we are giving you some awesome recipes of Paneer. 



Paneer is a product which is made from milk. It is high in protein and the best source of protein in vegetarian diets. You use paneer in many dishes. It easily mixes up with different products also. But many people think that Paneer is only good in curry. But I want to tell you that there are plenty of dishes other than curry. Here is the recipe of Paneer for dessert, snack, starter, and main course. If you are planning a weekend with a paneer dish. So this option is best for you. Choose according to you.

Paneer Cone 

Ingredient: Paneer, potato, green peas, carrot, onion, masala, Wheat flour, refined flour, and oil. 

Method: Boiled the potatoes. Then take a bowl then add grated paneer (150 gm) and carrot (1/2 bowl), green peas (15-20), mashed potatoes (1 big potato). Then take a pan to add oil to it then add chopped onions (1 big) and baked them until it becomes golden brown then add Haldi (turmeric), red Mirchi (red chilly), salt (as per taste), and garam masal. Then bake the masala for 4-5 minutes then add the paneer mixture to it. And bake it for 5 min then keep it aside. 

Now take wheat flour and refined flour in equal amounts (1/2 - 1/2 bowl) and add salt. With the help of water make dough from it. Now roll the small balls of dough. And cut it from the center and take half of it at once. Now roll the dough into a cone (like an ice cream cone). And you can use refined flour water (2 tbsp water and 2 tbsp refined flour) to stick the cone. Then add the paneer batter to it and for the upper side dip the cone into refined flour water then add dip the cone into refined flour. Make all cones in this way. Now take oil and deep fry the cones into it. 

When the cones are a little cold then take ketchup and dip the cones into it (only the upper side) and then dip the cones into a small shev (barik shev). And here your cones are ready. They look good in fact when you taste them the satisfaction is on another point. Make this dish for your children as snacks they will love it for sure. 

Paneer Parathas 

Ingredient: Paneer, onion, tomatoes, garlic, ginger, masalas, wheat flour, Ajwain (carom seeds), oil. 

Method: First make the dough for paratha. Take Wheat flour and add some salt, carom seeds, oil to it. With warm water make the dough. Now take a pan and add some oil to it. Then add small chopped onions and bake them until they become brown. Then add tomatoes and masalas like Haldi, red chilly, garam masala, and salt. Then add grated paneer (150 gm) to it. And bake it for 5-10 minutes. Now put the paneer mixture aside for cooling. 

Now take the dough and make small balls from it. Now roll 2 chapatis, take one chapati, and put the mixture of paneer on it. Now apply some water on the edges of chapati (apply very little). now put another chapati on it and cover all the mixture. Preheat the Tava and bake the paratha on it with the help of oil. You can serve the paratha with chutney or curd or ketchup. It goes with everything. It can serve any age person. You can easily eat in the main course of your meal. And they taste good, trust me!! 

Paneer Kheer

Ingredient: Paneer, Milk, sugar, milk powder, cardamom, cashew nut, and almond. 

Method: Take milk (1/2 lit) and boiled it. Then add sugar (5-6 tbsp), milk powder (2 tbsp). Boiled it nicely. Then add grated paneer (100 gm) to it and then add cardamom, cashew nut, and almond (optional). And boiled it for 15 minutes. When the milk is thick then your kheer is ready. 

Kheer is a traditional dish in India and it is very famous also. So paneer is the best alternative for rice. The dish can be served as a sweet dish with a meal or you can drink it after a meal. You can serve it as cold or hot both are good ways. 

Paneer Tikka



Ingredients: Paneer, Onion, Capsicum, Curd, Masala. 

Method: First the Paneer should be marinated so for that. Take a bowl add Curd then add jeera powder, red chilly, Haldi, and garam masala. Keep the batter for 10 minutes. Now take Paneer (200 gm) and chop them into cubes, then take onion and capsicum and chopped them into big cubes (they should be the same in size). Now Paneer, onion, and capsicum into the curd mixture. And keep them for 20 minutes. 

Now take wooden sticks or Tikka steel sticks. Apply some oil on it first. Then take 1 capsicum, 2 onions, and 1 paneer then again 1 capsicum, 2 onion, and 1 paneer, and make a total of 4 rounds like this. Now take the sticks and bake them on the flames of gas. And do remember we have to make them roast so there will be a smoky flavor. If you don't want to do it like this then the alternative option is also there. Take a pan and preheat it, then add some oil to it. Place the onion, capsicum, and paneer in it. Bake them from both sides. But remember use less amount of oil should be used so there will be smoky flaovor. And that is how simple the tikka of paneer can be made. 

You can serve them as a starter and green chutney or ketchup is the best combination.
