Adults and their requirement of nutrients

Every human body needs survival on the planet. For survival, we need a continuous supply of nutrients. Whatever we eat, our body utilized them and the need of the body is fulfilled. The nutrients should be supplied every day so the health of the body will be good enough to give you energy, strength for the work. A balanced diet is key for every healthy body.

As life is made up of different life stages. In which from pregnancy through infancy, childhood, adolescence, and adulthood. Life stages/ life cycle are divided into this part.

Today the article is for Adulthood. Let me explain it to you.

Adulthood is the period during which growth levels off and gradually a plateau is reached.

Adulthood and old age are the last phases of this life cycle. The aging process continues throughout life. Although physical growth is completed by early adulthood, the body tissues and cells remain in a dynamic state, with catabolism slightly exceeding anabolism, resulting in a net decrease in the number of cells. Aging is probably multifactor, resulting from the interaction of several mechanisms.

Adulthood is divided into three phases:

Young Adulthood: 18 to 40 years

Middle Adulthood: 40 to 60 years

Old Adulthood: 60 to 80 years or above also comes under this phase.

Young Adulthood: It is a phase characterized by years of stress and also fulfillment. The person who can settle down comfortably will enter into marriage and build an intimate and close relationship with his spouse.

These are years of building one's career, establishing one's own home, of parenthood, and of bringing up young children through the same stages of life. In these years adult struggles to make a niche for himself and his family.

As we can see a lot of things happened during this phase. Such as career choice, life partner choice along with this there are other factors. During all these ups and downs of life, the need for nutrients is very important, and should be keeping an eye on nutrients.

Middle Adulthood: The children have now grown and there is an emptiness in one's life. It is a period in which the adult can reminisce on all that has passed in his life and he must come to terms with what life has offered. This period can be fulfilled if engaged in activities through which the adult regenerates his life in the lives of the young person following the same path.

Older Adulthood: This is the last stage of life. If the earlier years have been fulfilling, the older adult arrives at this phase equipped to face the problems that this age poses. If on the other hand, there is no sense of completeness it torments the old person. He feels unneeded and unwanted.

In Indian culture, the old age person lives with their children, and many families are closely knit. The old in such homes have a sense of belonging and are an essential part of the family. The old has been enriched by life's experience in their maturing process. Such old people in turn try to enrich the lives of others and such relationships are mutually rewarded.

Researches also have stated that old people who stay with their children and grandchildren are likely to be happier.

The requirement of the Adults: The requirement for all nutrients continues. If the dietary habits have been developed and well-formed and during adolescence then it is necessary to maintain the same pattern even in adulthood since the same body processes are taking place in the adult years.

The requirements of calories decrease with the advancing age. After the growth spurt seen in adolescence, the energy requirements decrease steadily. Most adults are also known for doing a decrease in physical activities.

The requirement for protein should be decreased as the age is increasing. As the new tissues are not forming, except for the maintenance of worn-out tissues.

The requirement of carbohydrates should be controlled. As the intake of more carbohydrates can lead to many diseases.

The fat should is also important but consume in normal form. Eating too much fat can also lead to the different diseases of heart and overweight or obesity like conditions.

The need for vitamins is similar for adults. The special need for Vitamin D can be faced by some people.

The requirement of minerals is calcium, iron. The most common deficiency in the adult is also calcium.

The consumption of water should be enough for your body so you will not face any kidney or skin-related problems.

Many researchers have found some diseases which are related to faulty habits. The food items which we eat in our daily life are most likely to develop the disease. Here is the list of diseases from researchers the most adults faced:

1. Obesity or overweight- These are the two causes every person is afraid of. The occurrence of this is mainly in adulthood. If the person eats fast food, junk food, or drinks too many beverages. This kind of faulty habits can develop the condition like obesity or overweight.

The summary of this article is, As adulthood is the crucial and most stressful time of life. In that period person should look after his health. If your health is correct then you will not face any disease or any body-related problem.

Stay healthy, eat fruits and vegetables, consume less junk food, avoid beverages and Enjoy your life, stress less.
