Good posture: Here is the 8 benefits

 We sit in different postures like when we do laptop work we will sit either on a chair or on the ground.  Let me explain to you with an example.

When we sit in front of the computer we usually sit on a chair. When we watch the television we will sit on the floor or on the sofa or on a chair. And when we use a mobile phone then there is no limit for us we use it while standing, walking or sitting on chair/floor. After some time we change our position or posture. 

The point I want to highlight the point to you is posture. We use different posture while using different devices in our daily life. 

Have you given a thought about how bad we sit while using the device? Because our whole focus is on the screen we are so focused on our work, we neglect our body. 

Bad posture is going to affect our body like pain, muscle pain, and sometimes they don't even go. We in fact have to use gel or spray to reduce our pain. So next time you have pain then think, yourself is the reason for your pain. 

Every time our mom calls for us to sit properly is for our benefit. Now you will think what is the best posture for everyone. 

The posture depends on where you sit. If you sit in a chair then remember one thing your back should be straight, don't bend your back. Most of the problem is starts when your back is in the wrong position. 

If you are setting in front of a laptop then sit straight with your back and fold your legs towards you. Like when you do yoga. Sitting good in posture also looks good for the person who is looking at you. 

In situations like interviews, many people also see how is your sitting posture. Like these, there are many reasons you have to sit in good posture with your back straight. 

The bottom line is if you sit with straight back then the benefits you will be getting are:

1.BACK 

Like I have mentioned above, sitting with a straight back can give you relief. Your back is designed and connected to your head, pelvis, and torso. When you sit with a straight back you give relaxation to your muscles. Along with that when our back pains we all become irritated, we also start to get angry. 

On the other hand, if you sit properly with a straight back then you will feel more comfortable, relaxed, your head will also relaxed and your mood will also become better. 

2.HEAD

When you sit in front of the screen, your head is facing it. But bad postures can cause headaches. When you sit in front of the screen and your head and shoulder are towards the screen you might get a headache.

On the other hand, if you sit proper manner while using devices, then your headache will be gone. Put your shoulder in a relaxed manner and head on backward from the screen. Then I think your problem will be solved.

And always keep the screen on your eye level because looking down on the screen can also affect your head and neck.

3.BREATH

Researches have found, after sitting in good postures your breathing capacity increases. Meanwhile, bad postures can decrease your oxygen capacity. So whenever feel low oxygen or heavy breathing then change your position in a good way. 

4.MOOD

Having a stressful day at work, feeling sad, or don't want to do anything. Let me tell you what you can do is Pull yourself and first stand up. Lift your hands above your head and do the stretching until you feel refreshed. 

This little stretching can also make your change in mood. Researchers have shown evidence on how people feel after stretching and not stretching. They said that after stretching people were happy and their mood was changed. And the people who don't stretch were all same throughout the session. 

So stretching can make you happy and easily change your mood.

5.CONFIDENCE

You must have head sitting can give you confidence. 

I think you heard the right thing. When you sit straight with your back and your shoulder in relax manner then you will feel self-confident. You can easily found a person if nervous by their shoulder movement. Relax technique you can use in a situation like an interview, where people will found you confident and that will be a plus point for you. 

6.CONCENTRATION

When you think that the lecture of a teacher or your boss is becoming boring, then try this experiment with you.

Sit straight and pull the upper body, shoulder, and head forward the screen. You will see that just after changing the posture you have great concentration towards the lecture. These happen because your body gives a positive vibe to the brain and then you start your concentration on the session. 

7.DIGESTION

After you have your meal but you don't have a place for a walk so you can digest your food. 

Here is a great solution for you, after eating just walk in your room or in your house. After then sit on the floor, then fold your legs from your knee and sit on them for around 5-10 minutes. It is a type of yoga that helps in your digestion process. 

8.BODY HEALTH

Good postures have positive look on body health. As your age grow, with the proper posture you will face less problem like joint pain, back pain, shoulder, neck pain. 

Good posture also makes you look thin. Good posture makes your mood into a positive mood and keeps you fresh. 

These are the benefits you are going to get if you sit in proper, good posture with a straight back. The main benefits are on the body and mental health which is very important in life. You should always look after your food, your body health, and your mental health for disease-free and for living a long life ahead.
