Teenager age is the time period is a most crucial and important phase of the personal health and mental health also. At this time many teenagers are passing the standard 10th. After which many students shift to other states or cities. This is the age at which the growth of the children occurs most. 

Teenagers in an age where every child will start thinking that he/she has grown up enough so they can make their own decision. Like food is the very important point of view they should look after but what they do is they always choose the option of junk food. Because all the teenagers choose that, and they also feel like peer pressure. 

As a parent, it's our duty to explain to them what is important, where they should keep their view open, what they should eat on daily basis and rarely. Once you will tell them as a friend then they will listen to you. Because they know parents are never wrong. But also tell them eating once or twice in two weeks is okay but regular eating harmful. 

Many teenagers start eating outside foods they start spending more time in cafeterias along with that they also start drinking more soft drinks cokes. The same food they don't eat at the house but they eat outside same food with happiness. The difference we can say how you made the food is very important. 

The only thing as a mother you can choose is making food with variety. Because outside teenagers found more variety and in house, they don't found it. Try to give them more variety. Nowadays due to technology, you can make anything at home easily even with fewer ingredients. Homemade foods can be fresher, you can make them in large quantities also and even in a healthy way also. 

Here are some food ideas you can give to your children or in fact teenagers will also find them unique. 

Teenagers skip breakfast-You will find this problem in each house. This can occur due to teenagers' timing of classes or they don't like to take breakfast. 

Breakfast is important because it gives you energy and it is the longest you fast in 24 hours so it should be broken with a good amount of food and plus in a healthy way also. 

You can give them milk in the morning, If your child doesn't like plain milk you can give them Almond milk, flavored milk like chocolate milk and there are many options available in the market. 

In this way, they will like milk and they will easily drink also it. 

You also give them fruits that are always healthy food for breakfast or give homemade breakfast like poha, upma, sheera, dhokla, idli, thepla, aloo paratha, and many more. 

The bottom line is to give them homemade foods. 

Soft drinks- In the market, the option for soft drinks is plentiful because every brand is providing different soft juices with different flavors. 

For this, you can always make fresh fruit at home just pack it in the bottle. 

You can give them lemon juice, sugar cane juice, coconut water juice, seasonal fruits are available and you can always choose them. 

This is the best option for soft drinking. 

Eating outside- Teenagers like to eat outside often and they like more fast foods. 

We can easily make foods home like pizza, rolls, burgers, Frankies and we can also make chips, french fries, sauce at home. 

For eating outside the best option you can give is packed lunch. 

In packed lunch, you give them fruits, parathas, Frankies, bhel, khakra or nuts, or give them proper chapati and bhaji or give biryani or pulav homemade protein bars like groundout bar or dry fruit bars also.

Once you start giving them a tiffin-like alternative then they will choose a home-based diet for sure. As nowadays due to technology everyone knows what is right and wrong because everyone is aware of the current issue of food. 

The summary is you have to give them options and variety with healthy and tasty foods at home, once they start liking homemade foods then I guess your problem is loved.
