 We heard immunity words very often in this pandemic but what is actually immunity?

Immunity is the health of your gut to fight against any infection or any disease. 

Keeping your immunity strong is also a part of a healthy lifestyle. Getting easily flu, cold, or any infection like diarrhea then your immunity is weak. Then here is the list of food which you should eat or drink on regular basis to boost your immunity. 

But have you ever thought it can be how simple is to keep your immunity healthy. In fact, many foods we consume in India are very good sources of antioxidants. 

Like that many people don't know which food particularly increases immunity. 

I think personally going for medication is can be sometimes harmful and they also have side effects on your health. For this reason, always choose a better option.

The better option is Food. You can always count on food. They give you better health, better result and there will be no side effects on your health. 

Here is the list of food, which you should include in your diet from now. 

1. Citrus fruits

Citrus fruits are high in antioxidants and are the best sources of Vitamin C. They are also known for increasing your White Blood Cells (WBC's). Seasonal fruits like amla, jujube, guava, orange, pineapple, papaya, lemon, grapes, lime are the best source of citrus fruits. 

Lemon is the best option for vitamin C. It is available throughout the season. You can find them 12 months of the year. They are also less in cost so everyone can afford them. Having flu or cold this is one of the best food you should take when you're ill. 

2. Garlic

The use of garlic in food preparation is for years in India. Garlic has an antioxidant effect which is nice for the immune system, also helps to keep the gut healthy, and also fight foreign particles. 

You can easily store them. You can also add them to many preparations. We can make garlic soup, garlic bread, and you can use them in curry preparation also. 

3. Curd/ Yogurt

Curd contains many micro-organism and enzyme which fight with harmful and foreign particle and will keep your gut healthy.

We can easily make the surd at home. Curd is helpful in diseases like diarrhea also. We can make buttermilk, smoothie with the help of curd. 

4. Honey

Honey is one of the important and great for your immune health. As can be replaced with sugar in your daily life. 

As honey doesn't get spoiled so you can always count on it. We cab just add honey in water or we can just add honey in water or we can add it in lemon juice. 

5. Ginger

Ginger is having an antioxidant effect which is good for the immune system because it will fight harmful particles and the immune system will be healthy. 

We all use ginger in our tea but I bet you will not think of it as antioxidant-rich food, but it is. We can make a tea of ginger and we also can add them to curry. 

6. Turmeric/Curcumin 

Turmeric/Curcumin is best known as an antioxidant and keeps the immune system healthy. There are a variety of ways in which we can use turmeric like we can drink boiled water with turmeric, or in a tea, or we can use it curries, or with milk, we can drink it. 

We can easily store it. And using it is very amazing, Try it. 

7. Dark green leafy vegetables

Dark green leafy vegetables like spinach, fenugreek, coriander, mint, colocasia leaves. They all are rich in vitamins and minerals which are also having an antioxidant effect which is the best way to boost your immune health. We can use them in soup, salad, or make the curry of them. 

8. Water

Staying hydrated is also one of the important things and also related to your immune system. You should drink at least 8 glasses of water to keep you hydrated. You drink water normally as well as in the form of juice, fruits also. 

Simple right, most of the foods are we consume in our regular life. These foods are also easily available in the local markets or grocery stores. Sometimes simple food can also make a great impact on your health.
