As summer has started we all need one refreshing drink a day. Staying hydrated and maintaining electrolytes is one of the main tasks. As many children and people don't want to drink water alone.
In the hot temperature all you need is a refreshing drink to refresh your mood, which can give you energy for doing work, also keeps you hydrated, good for immunity, keeps your skin healthy. All these you can get from drinks sound amazing, Right!!
Here are some drinks which make water tasty by adding some ingredients and people will love these drinks. All the recipes are easy to make and you can carry them with you anywhere.
As summer is here the temperature is gonna increase, please drink plenty of water and stay hydrated and enjoy these drinks.
Here are some Summer Refreshing Drinks
1. Lemon Mint Ice Tea
Ingredients: Tea, Lemon, Water, Sugar/Honey, mint, salt
Method: Boil water then add tea in it and boil for 1-2 min. Then chill it in the refrigerator for 3-4 hours. Then take chilled tea (4-5 tbsp), water (1 glass), half lemon juice, honey (2-3 tbsp), crushed mint leaves juice (1/2 tbsp), and add salt. Mixed all the ingredients and add an ice cube. And enjoy it.
It contains Vitamin c and also this drink is rich in antioxidants. It also contains electrolytes. These all things will keep you fresh and hydrated also.
2. Watermelon Drink
Ingredients: Watermelon, Mint, Salt, Black pepper.
Method: Take watermelon (2 cups), half lemon juice, crushed mint leaves juice (1/2), black pepper powder (1/4 tsp), add water, and grind them (No need to add sugar because watermelon itself is very sweet, and if you want to add then you can). After grinding strain the fluid. Serve it with an ice cube and bless your taste birds.
This drink will rich in electrolytes, water, minerals, and vitamins It is also refreshing.
3. Muskmelon juice
Ingredients: Muskmelon, sugar/honey.
Method: Take chopped muskmelon (2 cups), sugar, add water and grind it. Then add ice cubes in a glass, pour the drink in it, and enjoy the cold fresh liquid.
This drink contains electrolytes, minerals, and vitamins. And it will keep you fresh.
4. Coconut water
Coconut water is one of the best drinks because it contains lots of minerals, electrolytes, and water and keeps you hydrated and fresh also.
5. Sugar cane juice
Sugar cane juice is hard to make at home, but alternatives are there. You can go outside and can drink them.
As they are naturally sweet you will not need to add some extra sugar to them. It is the best source of glucose and electrolytes. It will keep you fresh and hydrated.
6. Lemon juice
Ingredient: Lemon juice, water, Sugar/Honey, Salt.
Method. Mix sugar/honey in water, then add salt and lemon juice to it. Place an ice cube in the glass and strain the juice in the glass. If you like then you can add crushed mint juice. Enjoy the juice.
It is the best source of vitamin c which best for your immunity. and it also contains the electrolyte.
7. Pineapple lemonade
Ingredient: Pineapple, Lemon, sugar, and Salt.
Method: Take Pineapple cubes (2 cups), add lemon juice (1/2 tbsp), add sugar, water, and salt as per your taste. Then grind it and strain the liquid. Place ice cubes in a glass and add the liquid in it and freshen your day.
It is a good source of minerals, electrolytes and will keep you hydrated.
8. strawberry juice
Ingredient: Strawberry, Sugar, and Mint
Method: Take a grinder and add 5-8 strawberries to it. Then add water, sugar, mint and you can also add salt. then grind it and strain the juice. Then with ice cubes, you can enjoy the drink.
It is a good source of electrolytes and minerals.
9. The other water you can try
Barley water- It is used in many parts of our country. As it keeps you hydrated well in the condition like summer.
Bil- It is mostly found in the Rajasthan area. As it keeps you protected from sun rays and it is also known for hydration.
Chia seeds- The soaked chia seeds have the very huge impact on your body's hydration. They are the perfect thing for the summer.
Remember one thing, all these drinks sugar but go for less sugar option and alternative for sugar are honey or jaggery is the best option. You can also go for the sugar-free option if you want to.
