DT.Appledog's Time: Go Go Squid 2 (Episode 1-5 review)

 GO GO SQUID 2: DT. Appledog's Time

I was so excited when I heard the news of Go Go Squid 2. This season is going to be focused on Wu Bai and Ai Qing. As in the first season, there was very little role for Wu Bai. But I am glad that this season will be a focus on him. Season 2 came in the year 2021. There is a total of 36 episodes in season 2. 

As the first episode starts with Wu Bai, 97 and one are coming for the competition (i was so glad to see 97 he was best in season 1 I hope in this season also he will be funny). As they entered it was raining outside then Wu Bai heard that Ai Qing has not entered the stadium for completion so he goes looking for her. Ai Qing is late due to traffic as it was heavy rain on that day and her suitcase also was broken so she was sunning but she hit by some person and her remote of the robot goes into the drainage. Then she was sitting at the side of the road and Wu Bai came to looking for her and covered her under the umbrella.

It was the year 2017, the robot championship when DT is going to play against Appledog (DT likes her for 7 years, he also chosen this career because of her). As they both played, Wu Bai wins against Ai Qing. That Han Shangyan from season, 1 appeared as recalling Wu Bai that Ai Qing is Solo's girlfriends (Seeing Han in season 2 is everything, and his new hairstyle also amazing. He always manages to shine through in every scene). As Wu Bai wins and he got selected to represent China in Singapore. 

As Qi Qing lost but she ended up in another competition in racing and that is how she mages to goes in Singapore also. As Wu Bai is having a problem with his eyes also Han scolds him over the phone that his eyes are more important and all but he just ignores him. Ai Qing and Wu bai spend a nice time also in Singapore. 

Ai Qing thinks Wu Bai is a newbie. He is studying in Norway and he establishes the team during summer vacation (Impressive huh!!). 

In the second episode, Ai Qing comes to Singapore and meeting Wu Bai and other team meats. Later they were having meals as Wu Bai was happy but when Solo appears (To be honest season 1 Solo was nicer and handsome- in my point of view no offense). and he wants to talk with Ai Qing. He came there to sign for new talent. But seeing Solo, poor Wu Bai got all angry and just left. Solo offers Ai Qing to work together but Ai Qing rejected him. 

As the competition starts Wu Bai uses his all power and techniques for the game. But he suddenly got his blurry vision again. And his robot got stuck there but then he remembers the technique of Ai Qing and wins the competition. Before the match Wu Bai has given his cap to Ai Qing, if he wins then she will put the cap on his head so it will feel like a crown. He invited her to the concert but she doesn't know who was the person. But she goes to the concert. Wu Bai was going with hazelnut flavor ice cream for Ai Qing but as he entered the room he got blurry vision and after that, he just left. Ai Qing was also disappointed. 

Han is waiting for Wu Bai in the hospital and he was angry okay. Wu Bai decides to go under surgery but the surgery was risky and the chances of its success are less. After the surgery, he wakes up but it wasn't successful but he is not blind also. Han is taking care of him but in all his scolding way (It was really treated to watch again Han in his role, really happy to see him). 

As there was another little girl in the same room she asks Wu Bai as they both can not sleep so he tells her story. And she loves Ironman and Robots. Han introduces him to the idea to establish a company and asks him for money and name also. Wu Bai recalls that Ai Qing mentioned not being queen but she wants to become king. So there will be two kings and that is how the name K&K was founded (Nice). 

As the surgery was not successful so there is going to be second surgery in the next week. Ai Qing and her sister are now thinking about the new apartment so the dad does not have to sleep on the sofa. But her sister doesn't have money, Ai Qing has the saving of her competition and collected it in one card and she gives all to her sister and starts looking for the house now. Before the surgery, Wu Bai visited Ai Qing's home but doesn't show her but watch her from some distance. And he also draws something on the wall overnight and then left in the morning (I am telling you they both like each other). 

In episode third, it starts with after three years later Ai Qing is at her workplace and she meets some girl named Luo Huai. The same kid who was with Wu Bai in hospitals. She also tells her that she also has inspiration from Frigger. But Ai Qing doesn't know who is she. Wu Bai is graduated from university and now he is focusing on his 300 competition and after that only he will contact Ai Qing (I know strange but later you will know why this 300 number). 

Later Ai Qing and Wu Bai came to the same airport but from different places. At the airport, she did saw Wu Bai but not sure that it was him so she just didn't pay more attention to it. Wu Bai is again having pain in the stomach as he is having gastritis problems again.  

Ai Qing is going for her work and she also brings her sister with her. Her sister finds a man name Shen Zhe and they both are attracted to each other. Later he invited them over the drinks and they did go. At the same time, 97 was looking for Shen Zhe. Wu Bai was at the hospital taking saline because whatever he was eating he was just throwing out. When Shen Zhe was over the phone with Wu Bai (the phone was actually 97's), but when 97 saw Ai Qing and him just speaker loud name and then Wu Bai heard her voice and after that, he just runs after it (like obviously, he ran for her). 

Episode number four starts with Wu Bai all run back to the hotel and what a coincidence Ai Qing was looking at her phone and she left it in the room. So she was going through a lift and on the ground floor, Wu Bai also came and waiting for life. And then the lift opens and they both just looked at each other (this was actually emotional for both of them they were seeing each other after 3 years). After talking with each other for 3-5 sentences Ai Qing went back into her room but this time Wu Bai called her and they got each other's numbers. They then went out for dinner. 

Then Wu Bai also tells Ai Qing that he has gastritis and can not eat spicy food so Ai Qing brought him porridge. But when Wu Bai little sick then Ai Qing took care of him. Then they went to a candy house in which they both get notes. Ai Qing got 'I have no feelings for all beings, I have only fallen for you'. And Wu Bai got 'Nothing in life was worth living for until I saw you' (they both got nice notes, Right!!). 

Later at the opening ceremony of the China Robot Combat League, everyone gathers at but Ai Qing went back with her sister Ai Jing. As the sponsors don't know who Ai Qing real is he just kept showing off. But when he found out he all goes crazy. Then also it was explained that Wang Hao ket the record of 299 competition and it is the highest (I told you that it will be explained later). The ceremony was nice and in the end, the old Solo team also gathered. 

In episode number five, Solo also offers that Ai Qing should join their team but she refuses as she is already retired. But they were all happy because they all gathered after a long time. Solo was going with Ai Qing on dinner but Wu Bai just came in time and join them. Because he was thinking they going all on a date already. 

But When they arrived Solo ordered all the spicy and favorite foods of Ai Qing. But Wu Bai has just recovered from his situation so he ended up ordering cabbage salad. But what Wu Bai was thinking is that he doesn't know much about Ai Qing and Solo knows it because they dated in the past. 

As the closing ceremony of the China Robot Combat League Ai Qing ended up seating with Solo and the ceremony also has given tribute to the old Solo team. Then later Wu Bai, 97, Shen Zhe Ai, Qing, and Ai Jing all went to theme parks. 

Then everyone was clicking with each other and Shen Zhe ended up clicking pictures of Ai Qing and Wu Bai (they are a really good couple, the all photos were so nicely clicked they both looked nice in that). But Shen Zhe is not in the mood because Ai Jing thinks Wu Bai is more handsome than She Zhe (which is true). So Shen Zing asks Wu Bai for the money and in return, he will give phots to him. 

Wu Bai again asks later night that Shen Zhe should join the K&K. But Shen Zhe said that he will be captain and he needs more money. So Wu Bai said he will have captain place and Wu Bai will give him his half salary. But still, Shen Zhe rejects him. But in the end, Wu Bai tells him that if he wants to beat Solo then he should join K&K (Wu Bai is really smart huh, he knows what he has to say right on point). 

The series is nice and getting interesting more as you watch more episodes. The old name and new character are quite a good choice.
